Tell us about yourself,  Where are you originally from? –  My name is Jetpack Jones.  I’m a 25 year old Black artist living in Oakland, California.  I do consider myself a multimedia artist, but I can’t take credit for all of the visual art you see.  I co-direct and edit many of my videos.  Eustvce Mamba is the visual art director for #JetpackMovement.  He’s based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  I consider myself to be a multimedia experience.  Music is just one piece of the puzzle.  The more you can do for yourself the more independent you can be.

Can you tell us a little about supporting the Hoodchella festival and the #JetpackMovement Hoodchella is an underground music festival in Los Angeles, California.  I performed at Brokechella in Los Angeles last year.  Festivals like this are dope because the focus is on the art instead of just hype and making money like most of these bigger festivals are.  Hoodchella goes down this year April 8th and 9th.  The whole squad will be there. Come out and show some support.

What are your plans for the future? Collaborations, projects, etc.  – The future is unlimited.  I don’t plan too much, but you can look forward to a lot of music as usual and you can expect to see me branch out into other platforms.
Check out more of Jetpack Jone’s music on his Soundcloud, you can also follow him on Twitter and Instagram.
